GE Power Systems Names New President of Global Sales

Jim Suciu Succeeding Del Williamson, Who is Retiring

LAS VEGAS, NEVADA (December 9, 2003) — Jim Suciu, a 21-year GE veteran, has been named president of Global Sales for GE Power Systems. He will report to John Rice, president of GE Power Systems, and is succeeding Del Williamson, who is retiring Feb. 1, 2004 after a 45-year GE career.

Suciu has been serving as vice president of Energy Services Sales within the GE Power Systems business. He has held leadership positions in the commercial area including commercial operations for GE Energy Products, regional sales management in both China and northern Asia, and marketing and business development in Singapore. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University.

Chi Choi, currently GE Power Systems’ region executive for Asia, will succeed Suciu in Energy Services Sales. Prior to his most recent role with Power Systems, Choi held positions with several GE businesses including GE Aerospace and GE Aircraft Engines.
