Design Philosophy

The LM1600 is a twin spool gas generator with a three-stage low pressure compressor and a seven-stage high pressure compressor coupled to a low pressure turbine and a high pressure turbine, each of one stage.The gas flow exiting the gas generator drives a mechanically separate two-stage low pressure turbine.

Applications

This machine is ideally suited to mechanical and generator drive applications including pipelines, gas injection, process gas compression, and oil & gas and industrial power generation.
