Proven Performers
GE's B and E class are time-tested, proven performers with millions of hours of reliable service. These low first-cost machines offer world-class efficiency, fuel flexibility and application versatility.
The 126.1 MW MS9001E (9E) machine for 50 Hz applications and 84.4 MW MS7001EA (7EA) turbine for 60 Hz applications can accommodate a wide range of fuels, including natural gas, light and heavy distillate oil, naphtha, crude oil, residual oil steel mill gases and syngases. Their state-of-the-art fuel handling capabilities allow them to switch from one fuel to another while running under load.
The 77 MW 6FA machine for 50 Hz and 60 Hz applications can accommodate liquid and gas fuels with F-class efficiency and reliability. It is particularly appropriate for cogeneration and mid-sized combined cycle applications.
The 42.1 MW MS6001B (6B) for 50 Hz and 60 Hz applications is one of the most versatile and widely used gas turbines ever manufactured. With more than 1100 units in service, it has accumulated more than 45 million operating hours in the widest range of applications. The MS6001C (6C) is designed for low-cost electricity heat recovery applications.
All of these turbines can be equipped with the Dry Low NOx combustion system, which can achieve nitrogen oxide emissions below 15 ppm when burning natural gas.
