SQ-300i™ Automatic Voltage Control

The Future of ESP Controls

The SQ-300i is a redesign of the original SQ-300® that has a reputation for optimizing electrostatic precipitator (ESP) performance and collection efficiency for decades in many industries worldwide. Serving as the "heartbeat" of the precipitator, the SQ-300i uses a proprietary spark response algorithm to control the delivery of electrical power to discharge electrodes by controlling power input to a transformer rectifier.

Improved collection efficiency

Because the SQ-300i uses a proprietary advanced calculation method for achieving spark control, this unique AVC helps deliver a very high level of precipitator performance. This allows the control to detect sparks within the same half cycle that they occur for immediate quenching to enable your precipitator to increase power while promoting optimal collection efficiency.

Energy savings

Available Energy Management system keeps opacity below a pre-set limit, using the least amount of power possible. SQ-300i users have achieved up to 40 to 60% decreases in precipitator power usage, with annual energy cost savings in the thousands of dollars depending on the size and configuration of the precipitator.

Not your typical AVC

Because the SQ-300i AVC has been completely redesigned, it incorporates advanced technologies to provide maximum system flexibility. A Windows®-based operating system provides flexible use of hardware and software options as well as advanced communication features such as Ethernet connectivity for high-speed communication. Three onboard Intel® microprocessors make the SQ-300i completely digital for the ultimate in speed, reliability, and control processing accuracy.

Take advantage of the following benefits that can result in maximum precipitator performance:
  • Faster, more reliable processors results in better spark recognition and control that can enable ESP's to function more efficiently
