Energy & Asset Performance

GE's Energy and Asset Performance (EAP) offering helps you identify, evaluate, develop and implement customized solutions for optimizing energy generation, delivery and utilization. EAP's comprehensive approach covers the entire energy cycle, from procurement of utilities and fuels to in-house steam and electricity generation to recovering and reusing lost energy.

Analyzing the full energy cycle

Phase 1

In Phase 1, we identify and document your strategic, financial and operational objectives for energy saving projects.

Phase 2

GE engineers conduct a thorough evaluation of your generation, manufacturing and operational processes, the technology you utilize to create and distribute energy, and the existing market opportunities available to manage energy commodities.

Phase 3

GE will perform a detailed economic and technical analysis of approved projects, provide preliminary engineering and help identify funding options, including GE sources.

Phase 4

Detailed engineering is performed, projects are implemented, new equipment is commissioned and savings are realized. GE will implement agreed upon measurement and verification methods and train employees on the new systems.

Typical Areas of Evaluation Include:

  • Power generation and delivery
  • Fluid and gas handling systems
  • Power quality
